Candle Care

To make the most of your candle always burn them for at least 2- 3 hours on the first burn, this ensure that you always will have a nice even burn.

Always trim the wick after each burn, this will give your candle a few extra hours of burning.

Occasionally you may find that a candle can tunnel, this is when the candle leaves a big rim and only burns down the centre of the vessel.

This due to a candle not being lit for 2- to 3 hours on the first go and the wax pool is unable to spread evenly.

If this does happen, don’t worry, I have the perfect hack to cure a tunneled candle; all you need is some kitchen foil…

Take the foil and wrap it around the edge of the candle, leaving a hole in the middle leaving enough room for the wick to burn properly. Let your candle burn like this for two hours and your candle should have melted to an evened out level.

Soy wax is 100% cruelty free, vegan, natural and are non-toxic. There are many advantages to choosing soy wax over a different type of candle wax. Soy wax burns slower than paraffin wax, meaning you get a candle that lasts longer. While all candles emit some black soot while burning, soy wax burns cleaner and results in less soot.
