Reflecting…

Over the last 2 years in January, I’ve pulled a card for the year ahead. You could call it a little ritual I’ve developed. I like to get a feel of the vibe for that coming year.

I’ve just been looking at my apple notes, I write things, feelings, posts, blog ideas, captions etc.

I found my interpretations this morning, whilst supposedly resting.

The cards have been so accurate. You might be sceptical but I’d totally forgotten which cards I’ve pulled. The meanings for me have ranged from learning to trust myself, trust I will be taken care of and surrendering to the unknown.

This year I had 6 Ariel, a card of abundance, fruitfulness and shows a big apple tree full of fruit. It also suggests being kind and sharing your abundance be it literally or in kind.

Yesterday I finally took some of those apples to a good share. My neighbours apple tree was overflowing and I’d made and eaten enough apple crumble. So I shared them.

Trusting my intuition and my sensitivity is really a strength and not a weakness. Abundance and growth in many different areas of my life.

Yet here I am, nearing the end of 2022 and I’m ok, I survived it and I’m growing and I’m extremely grateful.

The past few years have been quite the rollercoaster. So it’s really not being rainbows and all sunshine. I like to think i’m proof that learning to trust when you don’t want to, believing your ideas, waiting it out and surfing those waves does work.

I’m writing this to convey that for me tarot is a great tool, reflecting on where we’ve been is very powerful and it’s ok to trust. I hope you found my impromptu post interesting. May I suggest you use the tarot for your own yearly ritual. X

Trick or Treat Tarot pick 🔮

It’s been a while since I’ve pulled cards. Today I’m using the Everyday Witch Deck, in honour of Halloween. It’s sunny outside today in Yorkshire and the leaves are reflecting my interior, shades of golden yellow. I also need the inspiration today so here goes.

Take a deep breath and quite your mind, choose which crystal you feel drawn to. Smokey Quartz on the left, Clear Quartz in the middle and Citrine on the right.

Card One Smokey Quartz

The Empress

The Empress, this witch is glowing and growing metaphorically and in some cases literally. Are you ready to birth something? An idea, a business, a creative project, a child or a new life? This card is my favourite, it embodies for me feminine energy which is present in the masculine and feminine. It’s abundance, growth and owning your feminine power and nurture yourself. Such a beautiful card.

Card Two Clear Quartz

3 Wands

The 3 wands, keep focused on the prize🏆, your wish or goal. Success in however you view it is close by, you’re almost there. The key message is to keep going, it may feel like you have been waiting for so long. Don’t give up because yo are so close to achieving your goal or desire. However when we are super focused, as this witch is we can miss what is going on around us because we are so focused on this goal. Remember to balance your goals with living in the present.

Card Three Citrine

Queen of cups

Queen of Cups, this witch maybe you or someone in your life. She is in some ways similar to the Empress. She is a nurturing person, she gives with her heart, some would say she wears her heart on her sleeve. She is intuitive, and kind. If you are feeling overwhelmed with emotion she maybe someone who you can turn to, she maybe you. If you chose this card the Queen of Cups maybe in your life, have you taken her offer of help? If you are offering empathy and compassion to others right now, just be careful that your own cup is full. You can’t give to others if your own cup is empty and they’re is nothing wrong with taking care of your own needs first.

I’d say all of the cards are treats, full of healing, insight and optimism. Remember you got this, even if it doesn’t always feel that way.

Do let me know which stone you chose. I picked Smokey Quartz, my new stone.

I’d appreciate if you’d follow me and like to help me grow. Take care and I’ll be back with a Halloween post on Monday! I’ll be reading tarot at Central Square in Leeds.

Weekly Guidance

Our weekly guidance. I decided to pull 2 cards, interestingly we have the same card I pulled for myself!

I find a deeper Meaning 🌙

And personal Growth 🌔

Amid the discomfort 🌕

What does this mean?

When we engage with uncomfortable feelings we are allowing healing to occur.

Often we seek distractions external to ourselves. However when you do sit with it we heal and essentially grow.

Mintakan – This card refers to feeling like you don’t belong and you want to be with other light workers or your soul tribe.

If you have been moving around, now is a time to find a place you can call home. Grounding or connecting to Mother Earth right now.

When we long for a sense of belonging, you can create a place wherever you are right now.

You may need to heal your root chakra. The first chakra, which creates a sense of belonging and safety. Healing this chakra will help you feel more grounded.

We have just had a full moon and we have many planets in retrograde, If you are feeling the effects, be kind with yourself, ground your energy.

Connect with others, reaching our if you can.

August Super Full moon In Aquarius

Also known as the sturgeon moon, this is a powerful moon baby.

The Full Moon marks the peak of the moon’s cycle, the moment when the energy is most intense, magnifying many aspects of our lives. They can expose our own shadows, allowing new truths to be revealed so we can step into a greater power and authenticity.

Full Moons are always powerful and are times of release and for coming into a deeper sense of awareness. We can feel more drained, experience sleeplessness or low during the moons peak

last supermoon of 2022 (the other three occurred on May 16, June 14, and July 13). This means that the emotional energy will be more intense than usual, due to the moon being perigee: Its close proximity to the earth makes us feel the lunar potency.

A full moon in Aquarius offers us the chance to see how the collective and groups can rise up and implement change. Aquarius is the sign of the humanitarian, as they’re always working hard to help others survive and thrive. With the moon in humane and charitable Aquarius, we’ll want to do our best to help humankind. You may see more people coming together to help others, a rise in concern for humanity and our community and our global community.

Being that it opposes the Leo sun, which is known for dramatic expressions of the heart, we will have to strive for a middle ground to balance out these juxtaposing energies. As mentioned above this opposition relates to how we can find our place in the world and our community and thinking of others, rather than self. Aquarius and Leo both love find giving to others be it in different ways.

We also have Saturn retrograde and Uranus in Taurus along with the Aquarius moon, creating a revolutionary and altruistic essence. This component of the Sturgeon full moon is bringing us back to 2021, when Saturn and Uranus clashed in the sky on February 14, June 14, and December 24. These dates triggered protests, around the world.

I’ve pulled 3 cards for the collective using this spread👇🏻

The 3 cards I pulled for the collective reading

1. King of Wands – The wands are the suit of action and movement. The king of wands can be a man in your life or it can signify the masculine association. This King is adventurous, driven, charismatic and takes charge of his destiny. If we think about the Aquarius Full Moon, and the energies we can equate this card to moving forward and organising either ourselves or within our community for the good of others either locally, nationally or globally. It will give us the energy or fire to move ahead, make the next step and take charge of your of life/destiny. in the Uk we have had many people striking, taking charge of their lives and in America Kanas has ruled against the Roe v’S Wade ruling. These are examples of taking charge of a situation, which affects not only individual’s but the collective.

2. 7 Wands – If you look at the picture you can see the witch looks defensive, or prepared for anything, and she isn’t afraid. The card says “just because you feel like everyone is out to get you doesn’t mean they are. Of course, it doesn’t mean they aren’t, either”. This Full Moon , you will feel prepared for anything or maybe you have been fighting for sometime. However this takes a lot of energy, being prepared is ok. You can ask yourself, who am I defending? Why am I prepared for the worst, when everything is ok? You could take this energy and use it for something more productive. A fine example of this is the media’s constant negative rhetoric, which can make us feel angry. We may find people feeling angry now, and ready for anything. The full moon marks the peak of the moon’s cycle, when the energy is most intense, and it magnifies many aspects in our lives. Can you use this energy for something more production and channel it into something to help your situation and that of the collective, rather than being defensive or lashing out.

3. The Hermit – “Alone is not the same as being lonely” When we sit in silence or when we meditate and live in the now we find great wisdom. What can we learn from this Super Full Moon? There are times when you can only hear yourself think by sitting quietly and removing yourself from the noise. Taking time off social media, off your phone and even going off to a beautiful place in nature. This card signifies if you can, it is time to take yourself off alone for a while. This can mean physical or mentally. when life is hectic, which this full moon can easily bring this up finding time to take time out will be beneficial.
