Judgement- it means making considered decisions or come to a sensible conclusion. In reality when we judge ourselves or others we don’t always come to sensible conclusions. We all do it including myself. I’ve done this many times, I realise this and I’m sorry I did this to you.
I’ve judged myself, I’m sorry I did this.
However when you judge someone for their situation, their health, what appears to look ok, looks well? It devalues that person. If someone opens up to you and shares something, it’s an honour. A gift. Don’t judge that.
Life can be hard and beautiful, we are all doing the best we can.
They may smile and look relaxed, seem ok or be calm. They may tell you all is good, but you don’t know what it’s taken for them to be sat there. It’s taken so much strength and determination to be sat there. If you really look in their eyes you’ll see the sadness and hurt.
Take a moment to step back from judgement, until you’ve truly walked in their shoes you’ll never know how brave they are.
You will however, see them walk away. You will learn that they are truly strong, because they can walk away.
